Marcela Astete was born in Peru and has traveled extensively since then.
In her twenties, she was a member of the International Association of Students (AIESEC) and participated in international congresses in Brazil, Ecuador, Sweden, Austria, and the United States.
It was during these travels that she met her husband, who is Finnish. Since their marriage, they have lived in Finland, Argentina, and the United States. In 2002, they settled in the Netherlands and have been raising their two children there.
Considering herself a global citizen, Marcela firmly believes that diversity is the true richness of the world.
Marcela holds a university degree in accounting in Peru, but her true calling emerged when she discovered Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) in 1993. This discovery led her to pursue a career as a communication advisor.
That same year, Marcela also came across the art of Tai Chi and the spiritual path of Sufism. The combination of these three influences enabled her to integrate body, mind, and soul, resulting in a profoundly positive impact on her life. In 2008, inspired by these experiences, she founded a school named Human-Potential where she conducts workshops for individuals and businesses.
In 2016, Marcela delved into Shamanism following the Wisdom of the Andes. This added a new dimension to her Human Potential concept and deepened her connection to her Peruvian heritage. She received training from Q'ero priest/shaman Nicolás Pauccar Calcina from Cusco, Peru.
Since 2020, Marcela has been representing his school, KawsayPacha, in the Netherlands and has translated Nicolás's book, "Así habla un Q'ero," into Dutch.
Marcela combines Shamanic techniques with the principles of Tai Chi and Sufism as a holistic approach to understanding human existence. All of this wisdom is encapsulated in her book, "The Path of the Wolf." She guides others in manifesting the world they wish to create and dreams of sharing her knowledge and wisdom to inspire people to become conscious Earth Guardians.
